Vircle: The Virtual UEW Circle

Requirements
Emotional Requirements:
Learning offline is always the best choice for learning. Vircle is not an easy program, because to be a good online program, you have to be hundreds of times better than an offline program- that way, if a student only learns 10% of what they came here for, they learn enough.

You have to be able to take criticism from mentors who may be grueling taskmasters. Many of them have experience teaching at the University level and approach Vircle with the same rigour.

While Vircle is FREE, and you can easily complete the program without taking a single course that charges money, if you want to take certain courses, you will be required to pay for the proprietary materials. These materials (as well as the free ones) are not for public consumption and you may find yourself in court if you use them inappropriately. [Pay classes are ONLY in topics that are not manditory to learn. In general, you need to cover 12 manditory topics and 6 elective topics. At least 12 FREE electives are offered.]

You've got to want the Third Circle, and be committed to the ideas of CUEW as a tradition and as an organization. For every two months you take to complete your Vircle program, you're promising to spend one volunteering as a mentor. That's commitment.

Basic Requirements:
Vircle is ONLY open to advanced students. Most students who've graduated CFFN will qualify, although your work will be reviewed prior to your acceptance and additional work may be required.

Students may also complete the IMP course, which is a way of demonstrating what you know and "proving" you are an advanced student. References will be required.

If you find the idea of references or the requirements of giving them problematic-Vircle is not for you.

Please be aware that more that 90% of the students that want to come into Vircle from well-known "pay to play" schools of Witchcraft are going to NOT PASS the Entrance exam, and should try Coven of the Far Flung Net or IMP.

Technical Requirements:
Access to the internet and willingness to make and keep deadlines.

Ability to do independent research.
Ability to acquire book resources (this means that if you can't get textbooks through ILL, you're going to have to buy or borrow them.)

Ability to be self-directed.

Coherance, clarity and intent.

English as a primary language or understood at that level.

If you live in a country that has problems respecting copyright-or if you do-Vircle is not for you.
